Alex Ferreira

Hello! My name is Alex Ferreira Simões and I’m a character animator from São Paulo, Brazil.

Before Big Studios, I worked for about 2 and a half years at Dreamworks Animation, where I participated in several projects such as Abominable, Boss Baby Family Business, The Bad Guys and others. Prior to that, I worked on other high-profile films such as Spies in Disguise (Blue Sky Studios) and Hotel Transylvania 3 (Sony Imageworks), among others. I also played the role of Animation Supervisor on several short films and TV commercials.

Keko (Andre Fiorini)

André Fiorini got his BFA in Graphic Design from the Art Center College of Design in 2002, and started his career as designer/animator at Imaginary Forces, where he produced important work for major film studios. Most importantly, the original Dreamworks logo redesign, done for the release of Shrek 2.

In 2004 he became head of design and art director at Ground Zero Advertising, where he worked with ESPN, Toyota and Virgin, among other big clients.

Back in Brazil, he started his own design and animation studio, overseeing its growth from an empty office all the way to several awards and clients, most notably a Grand Prix at Cannes for his work with Unicef. Andre also created and directed the film that launched the Ford Mustang in Brazil. Other accolades include awards at the One Show and D&AD.

Since leaving his studio, Andre has focused on branding and packaging projects with an eye on the digital environment, where animation, cgi and video play an increasingly important role in bringing visual identities to life.
